The National Convention will take place in Kansas City, Missouri, May 6-10, 2008. The proposed by-law changes can be found at bowl.com under the "convention" heading and then the sublist at the convention web site. Check out what is being proposed for next year. Let me know your thoughts and whether or not you agree with USBC’s recommendations regarding acceptance or rejection.
Interestingly there is no mention of a dues increase or a merger of state and local associations. Does USBC have something new up their sleeve? Need to check out how much power the board of USBC has regarding dues increases without membership approval or have they decided to wait and see what type of decline they face with the changes in the award structure.
More to report after May.
That’s all for this week!!
