Stone Mountain Lake by Erica Brough

Every fall my family and I camp along this lake at Stone Mountain Park in Georgia. We go to see the leaves change colors, climb the mighty "stone," watch the patriotic laser show, ride the hay-filled scenic train, play Frisbee on the green lawn facing the mountain's gigantic carving of  the confederate memorial and roast marshmallows around the fire. The air is always crisp, cool and breezy. Music from the grand Carillon Bells rings throughout the park. Crew teams row through the foggy waters chanting rhythmically. I look forward to visiting the park every year to photograph its beauty and be with my ever-growing family.
