"Fast" Freddy Rahmer wins the All Star 410 feature. Fast Fred Rahmer jumped from the outside poll to grab the lead en route to grabbing $5,000. Rahmer led all 30 laps to win the All Star 410 Sprint Feature at North Florida Speedway.
"The track was real fast, but it was hard passing anybody," Rahmer said in victory lane. "My crew did a great job with the car, and we had enough to win."
Rahmer survived a battle with low oil pressure in the opening laps and several battles with pole sitter Lucas Wolfe to take the win. Wolfe held on to take second place while Lance Dewease finished third.
"We were good, but we got caught up in lap traffic and Fred got through it better," Wolfe said. "We had some good runs at him, but I couldn't make anything stick."
Many of the 410 drivers will now head to Volusia Speedway Park and East Bay Raceway as Speedweeks continues this week. Rahmer will go with a little more confidence.
"It never hurts to win a race right before you go to [Volusia]," he said.
