Florida's Louis Murphy (9) pulls in a pass over Vanderbilt's Myron Lewis (5) at Ben Hill Griffin Stadium in Gainesville, Fla. on Saturday, Nov. 3, 2007. The Florida Gators defeated Vanderbilt 49-22 and were able to stay in the SEC East race with the win. (Star-Banner Photo/NYTRENG, Bruce ACKERMAN).

Wow! It's a sports shooters dream come true... the decisive moment when a wide receiver and a defender go airborne, doing acrobatics to try and come up with the ball more than 7 feet off the turf!

I shot this photo during the Florida Gators Homecoming game against the Vanderbilt Commodores on Saturday. The play came right down the right sideline. If you were there, can you find yourself in the background cheering?

There were more than 90,000 fans in the Swamp that day. The noise is deafening. I have never shot football in any stadium where it is louder. Being on the sidelines is something you never forget. It must be something about the architecture of Ben Hill Griffin Stadium that focuses all the sound onto Florida Field. It truly is an adrenalin rush!
