I'll be in Memphis, Tenn., based at the Heartbreak Hotel, for Elvis Week 2007. This year marks the 30th anniversary of the death of Elvis Presley. The week will be filled with activities ranging from sock hops to the moving Candlelight Vigil.
And I'll be there -- Taking Care of Business!
Graceland was the longtime home of entertainer Elvis Presley. The Graceland complex will be at the center of many of the Elvis Week activities.
The Elvis Insiders Convention and Expo, however, will take place in downtown Memphis at the new Cook Convention Center. Elvis' former wife, Priscilla Presley, is on the guest list.

| Hey Diva,<br>There's just so much, it's hard to pinpoint just one event. The vigil is always moving, but it seems that each time I pass through the house and the trophy room and racketball court, when I get to the walls covered with gold, platinum records, and accolades of every imaginable record setting occasion, that's when I lose it. I love this man's voice, and this, to me, is the ultimate tribute -- the measurable measure of his success. <br>I do love the concerts with him on video and the live band, too! Thanks for checking in! Susan :-) |

Probably check out the opening ceremonies, hang around for a little bit, then catch a nap.
