IT"S HERE - JULY 14 is Household Electronics Collection Day. Do your local landfill a favor and recycle these old heavy metals and chemicals that are contained in your computer monitors, TVs, stereos, etc. Dispose of your old electronics RESPONSIBLY and FREE
9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
Saturday, July 14th
Location: Marion Oaks Community Center
294 Marion Oaks Lane, Ocala
Directions: I-75 to exit 341, take CR-484 west (towards Dunnellon); Turn south on Marion Oaks Blvd.; At the four-way intersection, turn right onto Marion Oaks Lane; Community Center is on the left hand side less than a tenth of mile. Please follow the signs from there.
Who can participate: Marion County residents (including Ocala residents). Sorry – no businesses.
(Businesses should call Creative Recycling at (813) 621-2319 to arrange disposal.)

| I was just making calls last week trying to locate an ecycling program here in Marion County. Such a waste to fill the local landfill with items or their components that can be reutilized. Thanks for the tip! |

My husband wants to know how much he can bring at one time -- he and the kids are computer junkies! In other words, is there a limit?
I thank you for this notice so that we can have a cleaner house on the 15th! ;) |

| I just called Marion County Solid Waste Department, and they said that as long as you can show proof that you are a resident and not a business, there isn't a limit. If you are a business, there is another number you can call (see above) Thanks for asking! |
