Temper your Taurean Green expectations, Portland, Ore., columnist Dwight Jaynes recently cautioned fans of the NBA's Trail Blazers. Green, he says, suffers from "Scrappy Syndrome." Or rather, his coach does.

Former CFCC baseball player and San Diego Chargers safety Clinton Hart is doing his share to help out victims of the California wildfires. He spent some of his recent time off helping evacuees at Qualcomm Stadium.
From Chargers.com:
Safety Clinton Hart spent most of his day at Qualcomm Stadium where thousands of people have made temporary homes while wildfires continue to sweep through San Diego County. Hart helped distribute food, water and supplies to those supplanted from their homes. He also dished out smiles and hugs and signed countless autographs.
